Little League Baseball- Cubs vs Pirates/Red Sox

League City, TX 03/08/25 + 03/14/25

In between the days of March 8, 2025, and March 14, 2025, the league city little league Cubs faced off against two rival teams, the Pirates and the Red Sox. The Cubs were able to rise above the Red Sox however unfortunately fell to the Pirates.

UNT Softball vs UTSA Roadrunners - All American Conference

The University of North Texas woman’s softball team hosted the American Athletic Conference at home, Lovelace Stadium. The series consisted of a three game tournament against the USTA Roadrunners. To open the first day of the conference, they invited a little league softball team to stand with the Mean Green team during the National Anthem.

After wining the first game of the series, 9-1 with only five innings played, pitcher Kayleigh Smith, So., opens the second game of the series.

During game two, with sparks once again at second, the Mean Green hardly let any roadrunners pass to third.

The Mean green players embrace as the game two comes to end with a score of 12-4 needing in the sixth inning, having the Mean green lead 2-0 in the series.

The Mean Green team all meet up in the middle of the field to celebrate their win. UNT had ended to third game with a score of 12-3, needing the third and final game of the series in the fifth inning. Allowing the Mean Green team to take the whole conference home.
